Through the grapevine, I discovered that Brian Mcgraw won the most appropriate prize at the Upward Celebration event. A free coupon to get his haircut. Now, that is funny.
Interesting article.
Recently, I read a very good statement on an individual’s website posting. It stated, “Don’t frown because you never know who’s falling in love with your smile.” That got me thinking, what comprises a smile? What causes us to simply relax muscles in our face to form this semi-shaped U? Is it seeing our best friend, our favorite pet, a great photograph, a funny story? What causes us to communicate in this method and display affection that no other living being can produce? (Except, through the magic of Photoshop)
So, YOU answer this question, what’s in a smile?
And to the awesome friend that shared this statement, thank you for making me smile today!
Go ahead and throw the flag. This is hilarious.
I have a good friend, Donna who lives in the southern California area. She works for a retail technology company there and was asked to evacuate yesterday because of the fires. Please keep her in your prayers.
Carve your own pumpkin. Have Fun!

We are finally back from a wonderful trip to Disney World. It is such a “magical” place, no pun intended especially when experiencing it with children. We spent five days there for our second visit to this other world. This vacation, we got to spend it with our great friends, Chad & Jaime and their two children. We had an awesome time together and got to do a lot of things. Thanks for sharing that trip with us! I hope to post more about the great experiences we had.
